This Privacy Policy explains how ScribblePanda ("we", "us") collects and uses your information when you join the ScribblePanda waitlist at this website. ScribblePanda is a pre-release iPad app; this policy covers the marketing site and waitlist only.

Information we collect

• Waitlist details you provide: your email address, and optionally the subject you study, whether you use an iPad and Apple Pencil, and any note you choose to add.
• Technical data: standard information your browser sends (such as IP address and user agent), used for security and basic, privacy-respecting analytics.

How we use your information

• To add you to the waitlist and email you when early access (TestFlight) opens. This is the service you request by joining.
• To send occasional product updates and tips about ScribblePanda — only if you check the optional marketing box when you join.
• To understand interest in the product and improve the site.
• To prevent spam and abuse of the signup form.

We email you about early access on the basis of your request to join the waitlist. We send marketing messages (tips and product updates) only with your express, opt-in consent, in line with Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time (see Your rights), and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Loops — email/waitlist management and delivery.
• Vercel — website hosting, infrastructure, and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.

Data retention

We keep your waitlist information until you ask us to delete it or you unsubscribe, after which we remove it within a reasonable period.

Children's privacy

ScribblePanda is intended for students, some of whom may be minors. If you are under the age of digital consent in your region, please join only with a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message or by contacting us at privacy@scribblepanda.com. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, with appropriate safeguards where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
